Uploading the Freeroll

Youtube only allows to upload videos of 9 minutes. Because the freeroll is 2 hours and 45 minutes long it will need a lot of parts...I want to upload it yo megavideo (megaupload, I don´t know if it´s the same) to allow you to download it from there. But I´m having problems uploading it (I have a premium account). Someone knows how it is done? Im going to look if I megavideo can fix this..

Champions League is Back!!

Here it is the Champions again!! The Main Event...

Today we have two games of the round prior to quarter-finals. Lyon - Real Madrid and Milan - Manchester

In Madrid´s game we can see at Betfair that betting that Madrid will win its at 2.1. For me, this are very very good odds. Madrid is playing really well, it seems like the puzzle is starting to fit and Pellegrini has found the style of play that he wants. Albiol, Ramons and Arbeloa are playing brilliantly and Marcelo is doing really well at defending (which was one fo his weakness), this factors make that would be really difficult to score to Madrid (and Casillas is the goalkeeper...). Xabi Alonso is the best one in his position and he is playing well, and to score goals Cristiano Ronaldo can do it alone. The only player that has some doubts about his play is Lass, he is not playing as well as he did (but he still has a lot of credit). Higuaín is scoring a lot of  goals and is in good shape (although in Champions he has not play as well as in a la Liga the past years).
Lyon is not the team of past years, they are at 8 points of being leaders of France championship and a lot of people are putting in doubt their performance.
If we also take into account that Real Madrid´s motivation is a lot higher because the final of Champions League will be in Santiago Bernabeu (Real Madrid´s stadium) and that Mr. Florentino Pérez has put a lot of enfasis on winning the 10th Champions. The only thing that is playing against Real Madrid is climatology, a -5º temperature and snow might make it harder to play soccer (this always goes against the team that has the ball and dominates the match)

Big Game in Madrid!

 

Today at 21 CET Atlético de Madrid and Barcelona are playing at Vicente Calderon in "La Liga". The odds for "Atleti" are really really good, Betfair gives 5.2 if Atletico wins. Atletico´s performance against Barcelona is always pretty nice, giving them a lot of trouble (especially at Madrid). Given that Barcelona has a lot of defenders that cannot play (Piqué, Abidal, Chygrynskiy, Marquez) they will have to play the young Muniesa and Milito (that has been injuried for the last 2 years and is now starting to play again) and I think they do not have the level to stop Agüero-Forlán (One of the best forward couples in Europe). Also, Atletico de Madrid are in good spirit (having qualified for the final of "Copa del Rey") and with Reyes and Simao in good shape. Barcelona is Barcelona, they have Messi-Ibrahimovic-Iniesta, but I think 5.2 odds is really too much. I think I would be rooting for Atlético with 3 to 1 odds (Indeed I think they can win this match at least 40% of the time).


Prediction: Atlético de Madrid

I Won!!!

I have won the Freeroll on AlucinaPoker!! 813 players and nearly 3 hours of play and 250€. It was so much time since I win a tournament with so many players..and it has to be a freeroll!! but 250€ are 250€..I have made a video of the tournament, but it is in spanish. When I have some time I´ll make it in english!

Winning and losing, losing and winning

Lets take for example that we sit on a NL400 table with 400$.
The first scenario is that we win a buy-in and we have 800$, but a couple hands later we lose it and we end up with our 400$ stack
The second scenario we lose our first buy-in, we buy for another one and win an all-in to finish up with a stack of 800$ (so we do not win or lose anything).
In both scenarios we end up with the same (0$ profit), but the feeling is not the same. In the first one it seems that we have lost, and the second one that we won.
I´ll keep thinking about these things and post more

Holdem Manager vs Poker Tracker 3

Right now, with the little time I have due to my exams, exploring Holdem Manager. Ive always used Poker Tracker but I decided to give Holdem Manager a try due to the fact that a lot of pros use it. I will be posting some results about which one is better for playing and which has more options.
At first sight I believe that for taking 100% of the functions of the Tracker it requiers more knowledge about the program than Holdem Manager. But I do believe (not knowing a lot of HM) that knowing how to use all the functions of the Tracker, its superior (its just a feeling, because I dont have used HM much)
